Jak vnímáte smysl klauzurní diskuze v kontextu feedback weeků (MA ALD, MADOT) a obhajob (RD ALD, SC ALD)?

The format of the discussions during Proces 029 is now up to you! What is the purpose of discussions during the Proces festival? What has worked well in past discussions, and what hasn’t? In what ways do discussions provide feedback? Do discussions help you develop your thinking about different aspects of a production? Do discussions teach you how to talk about someone else’s work? How do you perceive the purpose of final festival discussions in the context of feedback weeks (MA ALD, MADOT) and defences (RD ALD, SC ALD)?

 

Křest publikace Jak na veřejný prostor

 Publikace Jak na veřejný prostor s podtitulem Manuál umělecké observace představuje praktický i analytický manuál zaměřený na dramaturgii veřejného prostoru. Nabízí postupy, jak veřejný prostor číst, zkoumat a chápat v jeho sociálních, kulturních i prostorových souvislostech. Publikaci napsali Jana Stárková a Ludvík Píza, oba dlouhodobě působící jako tvůrci, výzkumníci a pedagogové na pomezí divadla a veřejného a městského prostoru. Úvodní text napsala Sodja Lotker. Skripta Jak na veřejný prostor vznikla v rámci mezinárodního projektu UNLOCK THE CITY!, podpořeného programem Kreativní Evropa. Projekt propojuje performativní umění s vědeckým výzkumem a zkoumá, jak tyto přístupy mohou přispět k přehodnocení podoby města v postpandemickém kontextu. Publikace vychází v česko-anglické podobě a je určena studentstvu se zájmem o performativní dialog s veřejným prostorem. Součástí křtu bude i vegetariánský brunch.

Publication Jak na veřejný prostor (How to Approach Public Space) with the subtitle A Manual of Artistic Observation presents a practical and analytical guide focused on the dramaturgy of public space. It offers methods for reading, examining, and understanding public space in its social, cultural, and spatial contexts. The publication was written by Jana Stárková and Ludvík Píza, both long-standing practitioners, researchers, and educators working at the intersection of theatre and public and urban space. The introductory text was written by Sodja Lotker. The coursebook How to Approach Public Space was created as part of the international project UNLOCK THE CITY!, supported by the Creative Europe programme. The project connects performative arts with scientific research and explores how these approaches can contribute to rethinking the form of the city in a post-pandemic context. The publication is released in a Czech–English edition and is intended for students interested in performative dialogue with public space. Vegetarian brunch is going to be a part of the release party.

Objevil se tu. Jen tak, znenadání, jako by odnikud. Objevil se tu a přinesl nám světlo. 

 

Přivři oči a možná uvidíš tancující plechovky. 

Přivři oči, abys líp viděl světlo a tmu.

Přivři oči, abys líp viděl nahodilého hosta.

Možná, že není o tolik jiný než ty.

Možná, že je stejně plachý, zvědavý a poťouchlý.

Možná, že jenom přišel najít někoho, s kým by šířil svoje světlo až za hranice vachrlatých polic.

Twin towers (It’s okay to collapse) (ENG friendly)

Twin Towers (It’s Okay to Collapse) is a performance that reflects on the fragile beauty of collapsing.  Born from the impact of a child witnessing the fall of the Twin Towers on television in 2001, the piece uses this historic event to build, destroy and re-build memory through objects and our bodies.  Devised and performed by John, Samuel, Roberts, Elisa, and Adam, the group invites the audience to experience collapse from different perspectives and scales. The world, their history, our memories, and ourselves are in constant states of collapse, we only need to pause for a moment to appreciate and contemplate the beauty within it.

38,5 – to je vážně horečka!
Nemocná Jitka leží v posteli a nemůže se ani hnout. A je dobře známo, že kdo je nemocný, ten se nudí. A kdo se nudí, ten si vždycky něco najde. Tak i Jitka nachází v peřině hubenou, dlouhou nitku a než se naděje, je z ní Kytka.

Snění nebo bdění – to se těžko pozná, když má Jitka takovou horečku. Motá se jí hlava a musí pořád pít nějaký bylinkový čaj a srkat sirup, mazat se mastmi a polykat léky. Musí zůstat v posteli a potit se, jak jí říká máma. Nemůže jít se spolužáky do zoo ani na hřiště, a vlastně vůbec nikam. Co jiného jí zbývá než velká nuda?

To ale ještě neví, co ji čeká, když zavře oči, a kam ji Kytka zavede.

38.5 – that’s a real fever!

Sick Jitka lies in bed and can’t even move. And it’s well known that those who are sick are bored. And those who are bored always find something to do. So Jitka finds a thin, long thread in the duvet and before she knows it, it turns into Kytka (Flower).

Dreaming or waking – it’s hard to tell when Jitka has such a fever. Her head is spinning and she has to keep drinking herbal tea and sipping syrup, applying ointments and swallowing medicine. She has to stay in bed and sweat, as her mother tells her. She can’t go to the zoo or the playground with her classmates, or anywhere else. What else is left for her but great boredom?

But she doesn’t yet know what awaits her when she closes her eyes, and where Kytka (Flower) will take her.

Za automatem na kafe je nějakej pán a dělá dřepy, co může. Jenom tak v trenkách, a pot z něj lítá do všech stran. On snad ani nemyslí. Nikdo tu není, nikdo ho nevidí, ani to funění není slyšet. Jen občas na něj štěkne uklízečka, aby se postavil trochu vedle. A jeho to nerozhodí, pokračuje dál. Dělá dřepy a pot lítá. Prostě dělá co může. Automat: Herzlich egal. Přiložte platební kartu.

There’s a man behind the coffee machine doing squats as best he can. He’s only in his shorts, and sweat is pouring off him in all directions. He probably doesn’t even think. No one is here, no one can see him, and you can’t even hear his panting. Only occasionally the cleaning lady barks at him to stand a little aside. And he doesn’t mind, he keeps going. No jo, jenže tohle není ledajaký dědeček. On je totiž tak trochu kouzelný! Dokáže proměnit i nejobyčejnější věci v ty největší kulišárny. Ale poslední dobou začíná zapomínat, všechno se mu plete a myšlenky mu kamsi mizí… Zachrání děti jeho ztracený svět? Dokážou, že ti nejmladší a nejstarší se navzájem opravdu moc potřebují?

Kdo ví, kdo to ví?  Nastavuju se na rychlý rozběh.  To je jedno. Ísť.  Dumám nad tým, ale nepomôže mi to. Pozatvárať dvere.  Proč mám meškat déle? Nemůžu jinak.  Pryč.  Vzít si sebou: pevnou obuv teplé oblečení spacák láhev s vodou nůž baterku pytel

A performance that weaves fragments of images, film, movement and poetry to explore love, womanhood, queerness and trauma. Through the use of overhead and digital projectors, a live visualizer camera, objects, and real-time sound manipulation, five performers construct shifting visual and sonic landscapes, and enter them with their bodies, as if entering a waking dream.

Perspektivní příběh o tom, že když nemůžeme vylézt ze své ulity, můžeme si ji vzít s sebou.
